Terms of Service
Last updated: October 1, 2026
1. General provisions
- These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the access to and use of the SaaS service (“Service”) provided by ItGuysCan Mirosław Farajewicz, located at Zbożowa 3/14, Kraków, Poland, VAT ID: PL6842536537 (“Provider”, “we”, “us”).
- The Service consists of monitoring external iCal calendar feeds (
.icsfiles and thewebcal://protocol) and delivering automated webhook notifications to callback endpoints specified by the user (“User”, “you”). - By registering an account, generating API credentials, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Service description and operating modes
- The Service delivers notifications regarding calendar updates in two primary operating modes:
notify_only— transmits exclusively a change notification event, without including calendar event details or content.content_mode— transmits specific change diffs (deltas) containing added, modified, or deleted calendar events.
- Feed deduplication. The Provider utilizes URL normalization and feed deduplication. If multiple Users subscribe to the exact same public iCal URL, the feed is polled once and notifications are distributed to all respective subscribers.
- Rate limits and circuit breaker. The Provider reserves the right to enforce rate limits on management APIs and to employ an automated circuit breaker. If a User's endpoint consistently fails to respond, webhook delivery may be automatically paused until manually or programmatically resumed.
3. Fees and billing
- The Service is billed under a two-part tariff pricing model:
- A recurring fixed subscription fee per active, subscribed iCal feed.
- A variable usage-based fee for the volume of successfully delivered webhook notifications.
- Payments are processed securely via our payment processor, Stripe.
- Applicable pricing and limits are specified in your account dashboard. Non-payment or payment failure may result in immediate suspension of calendar polling and API access.
4. User obligations and security
- You represent and warrant that you hold all necessary rights or consents to subscribe to and monitor the provided iCal feed URLs.
- iCal URLs containing sensitive authentication tokens in query parameters are submitted at your own risk and responsibility.
- You are solely responsible for securing your API keys and verifying the HMAC SHA-256 signatures included in outgoing webhook payloads.
5. Limitation of liability
- The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Provider makes no guarantees regarding the uptime or availability of third-party calendar host servers (for example Airbnb, Google Calendar, or Outlook).
- The Provider shall not be liable for notification delays or failures caused by IP blocks, target rate limiting, or errors on the User's callback endpoint.
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the User for the Service during the three (3) months preceding the claim.
6. Governing law and jurisdiction
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland.
- Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kraków, Poland.
